The Glendale Valley Municipal Authority is a municipal authority created in accord with the state of Pennsylvania’s Municipal Authorities Act.

It was formed in January 2001 by Reade and White Townships to implement the recommendations of the Township’s Joint Act 537 Sewage Facilities Plan.

In the years since its formation, the authority has been working on funding and design of the Reade/White water and sewerage systems, which has now been completed.

In October of 2008 the authority purchased the existing water and sewerage systems in the Glendale Yearound. These systems are now operated by the authority through a contract with The Glendale Corporation.  In 2015 the GVMA has interconnected the Glendale Yearound system with the Reade/White water and sewer system.
