Ice Pigging

 

The ice pigging process within the Glendale Yearound has begun.  GVMA has deemed this process necessary to improve your drinking water.  Ice pigging is a technique that is more effective than hydrant flsuhing in removing particles and sediments from the pipe walls.  This process is done by pumping an ice slurry mixture through a section of main water line.
